Consultation has concluded
This summer, the Ada County Highway District will begin work on phase one of 2021 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Project. This is a pavement maintenance project that consists primarily of the removal and replacement of either all or a portion of the existing asphalt pavement (depending on the street segment). Work also includes reconstructing adjacent curb ramps to meet current ADA standards and minor stormwater pipe replacements. Work will be done on the following segments of road:
- Pleasant Valley Road from Hollilynn Drive to Gowen Road
- Boise Avenue from Broadway Avenue to Gekeler Lane
- Linden Street from Broadway Avenue to Gekeler Lane
- Curtis Road from Fairview Avenue to Ustick Road
- Fairview Avenue from Maple Grove Road to Milwaukee Street
- Surprise Way from Amity Road to Highway 21
- Commuters are reminded to obey all road closure signs and follow the signs along the detour route. Commuters should never attempt to drive, bike, or walk on closed portions of the road, regardless of whether there appears to be active construction. It is unlawful to move or manipulate construction signs and doing so can put commuters and construction workers at great risk.
