The Albion Street Bridge is being redesigned by the City of Boise as part of their Cassia-Garden Pathway Connection Project. The pathway project will provide a North-South connection along Garden Street connecting the Central Bench to Downtown Boise and Boise River Greenbelt, increasing access to Cassia Park, and nearby schools.
The new bridge structure will include new head walls and wings on the north side of Albion Street. The existing headwalls and wing walls on the south side of Albion Street will be removed, and replaced by a concrete box located within ACHD right-of-way.
When the City of Boise is ready to construct the pathway, ACHD will oversee reconstruction of the Albion Street Bridge.
