Amity Road, Cloverdale Road to Five Mile Road

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is designing future improvements for Amity Road between Cloverdale Road and Five Mile Road. The purpose of the project is to increase motorist, pedestrian, and bicyclist safety, as well as, improve current and future traffic flow.

Project Description

• Widen Amity Road from Cloverdale Road to Five Mile Road to one lane in each direction with a continuous center turn lane
• Construct a buffered, multi-use pathway on both sides of Amity Road for bicyclists and pedestrians
• Remove and replace the existing bridge over Eightmile Creek
• Install a pedestrian hybrid beacon (PHB) with a pedestrian refuge island near South Riva Ridge Way
• Construct additional storm drain facilities

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2028.
