ACHD is designing safety improvements for the Black Cat Road railroad crossing, north of Aviator Street.

The project will upgrade the existing stop-controlled railroad crossing to an active crossing with flashing lights and gates. These improvements are intended to improve safety for people traveling through the area.

Design began in February 2026, and construction is expected to begin in October 2026.
