On Thursday, December 16th, the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) asked the community to participate in a virtual open house to review the potential improvements proposed for Collister Drive, between State Street and Hill Road. If you attended the meeting- thank you!

We heard many concerns expressed during the virtual open house and survey regarding tree impact. As a result, ACHD will conduct an assessment of tree and right of way impacts throughout the whole corridor. This assessment will take some time and may delay our spring virtual open house. However, it is important that we evaluate the proposed concepts with the potential impact on the mature tree canopy. Dependent on the result of our survey, we will revisit the concepts and identify opportunities for modification.
