ACHD is developing a plan to help improve neighborhood streets in the Downtown Meridian area.

The purpose of this plan is to update the adopted 2012 Downtown Meridian Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and engage with the community to identify and prioritize future transportation (bicycle, pedestrian, crossing, and roadway) projects in the Downtown Meridian planning area.

    On January 10, 2024 the ACHD Commission adopted the Downtown Meridian Neighborhood Plan.

    The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will consider the adoption of the Downtown Meridian Transportation Plan during the January 10, 2024 hearing. The meeting will begin at 12 p.m.; however, this project is one of several agenda items and may not be the first item discussed. ACHD staff will make a brief presentation followed by an opportunity for public comment before the Commission acts.

    There are several ways to participate in the Commission Meeting:

    In-Person

    • Join us at 3775 Adams Street in Garden City in the Auditorium.

    Virtually

    • Participate online. The Meeting will be live-streamed and members of the public who wish to watch and ask questions can do so using Zoom.(External link)
