Design Updates

A few project elements have changed since ACHD shared the project with the public in 2022.

State and 14th Street

• The 'Z' style pedestrian crossing originally proposed has been changed to a more standard crossing with a refuge island and will still feature an overhead Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB).

State and 3rd Street

• Based on public input, ACHD will add an enhanced pedestrian crossings with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), including bicycle push buttons, to cross State Street.

9th Street and Jefferson Street

• One bulb-out was removed on the south side of 9th Street.
