The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will begin construction on Edna Street from Oxbow Avenue to Elgin Way and the Shamrock Avenue & Goldenrod Avenue intersection in January of 2024. Construction is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2024.*
This project will replace the existing irrigation pipes and related drainage structures within the roadway, as the current system is failing. This new infrastructure will help improve flooding from large storm events at both locations.
Construction Impacts:
- Temporary road closures and lane restrictions
- General construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms and ground vibration
- Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. unless otherwise approved
- The contractor will work with homeowners to minimize construction impacts
*Construction schedules may change due to high demand for contractors, labor, and supplies.
