We are developing plans to replace the the Fairview Avenue Bridge over the Boise River. The current bridge was built in 1932, expanded in 1976 and is now nearing the end of it's service life. This project will improve the roadway and connectivity to bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

Project Features

  • Replace the Fairview Avenue Bridge
  • Build a multi-use pathway across the bridge
  • Extend the sidewalk along Fairview Avenue from Garden Street to Shoreline Drive.
  • Explore adding new connections to the Boise River
