The Ada County Highway District is making plans to upgrade Glenwood Street, Mountain View Drive, and Kent Lane in Boise and Garden City. These projects will improve deteriorating pavement and provide better walking and biking routes, making it easier for neighbors to access schools, jobs, shopping and public transportation.

Project Features

  • Repaving streets
  • Adding and replacing sidewalks and driveway approaches
  • Adding a 10-ft multi-use pathway
  • Upgrading traffic signals at select intersections
  • Adding and improving pedestrian crossings at the Chinden/Glenwood intersection
  • Modifying north section of Mountain View at Glenwood to right-in/right-out

    Thank you to everyone who reviewed the design plans for Glenwood Street, Mountain View Drive and Kent Lane – including everyone who joined us at the public open house at the Boys & Girls Club in May!

    More than 300 people participated in our online and in-person public meeting this spring and we appreciate the many thoughtful comments shared by the community.

    What’s next?

    In the coming months, the project team will continue environmental work and begin preliminary design. Your feedback will help guide these efforts. ACHD will share final design plans with the community next year.
