The Ada County Highway District's (ACHD) Integrated Five-Year Work Plan (IFYWP) sets forward the strategies, projects, and priorities ACHD will pursue over the next five years. The first two years of the Plan align with ACHD’s 2025 budget. This plan allows elected officials, staff, partner agencies, and the public to work in a coordinated fashion to implement projects.

    Integrated Five-Year Work Plan 2025-2029 Commission Adoption

    Get Involved!

    The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will consider the adoption of the 2025-2029 Integrated Five-Year Work Plan (IFYWP) during the September 25, 2024 hearing.

    The IFYWP is ACHD's short-term capital project plan that is updated annually and details when work is anticipated to occur on all road and intersection widening projects, bike and pedestrian projects, bridges, and maintenance work throughout all of Ada County.

    There are several ways to participate in the Commission meeting:

    In-Person

    • Join us at 3775 Adams Street in Garden City in the Auditorium.

    Virtually

    • Participate online. The Meeting will be live-streamed and members of the public who wish to watch and ask questions can do so using Zoom.

    The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) has been working on developing the 2025-2029 Integrated Five-Year Work Plan (IFYWP) over the last year. Based on input from residents, the ACHD Commission, and our partner agencies, we have identified projects that may be considered for implementation to improve the transportation system in your neighborhood over the next five years.
