This project will widen the over two miles of Linder Road between Chinden Boulevard and State Highway 44, adding multi-use pathways, and replacing five bridges within the corridor limits. Three of these bridges cross the Boise River. Design will start in 2026 and as the project advances the public will be invited to review the design.
Background
ACHD conducted a study along Linder Road between Chinden Boulevard and State Highway 44 to evaluate future roadway widening and improvements based on future transportation needs of the community. In order to evaluate all the issues surrounding this stretch of Linder Road, ACHD sought feedback from the traveling public, residents and property owners about improvements they felt needed to be made along this segment of Linder Road.
