The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will be adding striped bike lanes to Owyhee Street between Overland Road and Dill Street this summer to increase bicycle connectivity in the area. As part of this effort, some on-street parking will need to be removed.

We want to know what type of on-street parking is preferred by residents and property owners that live adjacent to this section of Owyhee. The two options include:

  • Alternating on-street parking from side-to-side. Alternating parking from side-to-side keeps parking where it is most utilized and can provide a traffic calming benefit.

  • On-street parking on one side only. Keeping parking all on one side of the street provides consistency and predictability throughout the corridor.

Take our quick survey and tell us your preference!
