Starting as early as June, the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will begin construction on Pollard Lane at the Floating Feather Road intersection. This project will improve safety and increase pedestrian connectivity. Construction is expected to be complete in late summer 2026.*
Project Highlights
- Construct an asphalt pathway on the north side of Floating Feather Road from Pollard Lane to the existing sidewalk to the west
- Extend the existing sidewalk on the east side of Pollard Lane
- Install adjacent pedestrian ramps to meet current standards
- Install railing on top of the Foothill Ditch bridge wingwalls
Construction Impacts
- Pedestrian detours and sidewalk closures
- Lane restrictions with flaggers
- General construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms and ground vibration
- Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise approved
- The contractor will work with property owners to minimize impacts
