Vista Avenue Bridge Work Begins Wednesday

Beginning Wednesday, April 1st, there will be lane restrictions on Vista Avenue between Elder Street and Canal Street (north of I-84) for bridge maintenance work. The road will remain open with at least one lane in each direction, but drivers may see some delays though the work area.

This work is part of ACHD’s Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program and includes deck maintenance on the Vista Avenue structure over the New York Canal. This work helps ensure the bridge continues to meet quality and safety standards and provides a smoother, more durable surface. Construction is expected to wrap up in August.
