Starting as early as May, the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will be in the South Cole and Boise Bench neighborhoods to apply a slurry seal to select culs-de-sac. Similar to a chip seal, the slurry seal helps protect and prolong the life of the pavement. This process is designed specifically for the narrow confines and unique features of the cul-de-sac.
A week prior to the work, residents will be notified via door knockers and message boards in the neighborhood.

The cul-de-sac will be closed for approximately four hours.
Please do not park in the cul-de-sac during the slurry seal process. We encourage you to park outside of the cul-de-sac, should you need to leave during the four-hour time period.
After the treatment has cured for four hours, you can resume driving on the road. However, it will take approximately 30 days for the seal to completely cure.
The contractor will remove the cones, barricades, and tape once the cul-de-sac is drivable and ready to return to service.
