Winter 2024 Project Update

Based on public input and further technical review, the team has made a few changes to the project design.

The improvements now include

• Filling in sidewalk gaps and replacing deteriorated sidewalk to improve connectivity
• Adding bulb-outs and narrowing travel lanes where appropriate to improve safety
• Upgrading and/or installing pedestrian ramps to meet modern standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Adding crosswalk markings for school walk route crossings (new)
• Stormwater and irrigation upgrades to improve flows

• West 4^th Street, Broadway Avenue to Maple Avenue
• Broadway Avenue, East 3^rd Street to East 6^th Street

• Idaho Avenue, West 8^th Street to Meridian Road
• Maple Avenue, West 1^st Street to Meridian Road
• East 2^nd Street, Idaho Avenue to Pine Avenue (new)
