The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will be repaving or reconstructing several streets in Meridian as part of a locally funded project to improve pavement conditions and upgrade the streets for all users.
Work could include
- Filling in sidewalk gaps and replacing deteriorated sidewalk to improve connectivity
- Adding bulb-outs and narrowing travel lanes where appropriate to improve safety
- Upgrading and/or installing pedestrian ramps to meet modern standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Adding crosswalk markings for school walk route crossings
- Stormwater and irrigation upgrades to improve flows
