ACHD will be rehabilitating 2nd Street in Kuna from Linder Avenue to Orchard Avenue as part of a locally funded project to improve pavement conditions and upgrade the streets for all users.

As part of the Kuna Pavement and Pedestrian Improvements project, ACHD will be replacing driveway approaches, filling in sidewalk gaps to increase connectivity, adding bulb-outs where appropriate to improve safety, and upgrading and/or installing pedestrian ramps to meet modern standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Project Description

  • Remove and replace the existing asphalt on 2nd Street
  • Add sidewalks along the south side of 2nd Street from Linder Avenue to Orchard Avenue
  • Replace driveways to maintain access to properties
  • Install on-street parallel parking on the southside of 2nd Street between Linder Avenue and the church property
  • Install curb and gutter
  • Bulb-outs will be added to 2nd Street at the corner of Linder Avenue and on 2nd Street near the ballpark
  • Install upgraded pedestrian ramps
