The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is exploring improvements to Adams Street and Alworth Street between Kent Lane and 37th Street.

This corridor connects nearby schools, businesses, neighborhoods, the Greenbelt and other Garden City destinations, making it an important street for those walking, biking and driving. We are evaluating ways to make the corridor safer, more comfortable, and easier to use for everyone.

Options Being Considered

As part of the study, we are looking at future changes for the corridor, including pedestrian crossings, bike and pedestrian improvements, traffic calming, parking changes, and striping changes.

Striping changes may be completed with the planned ACHD chip seal season in 2027.
