Join us for the Coston Street adoption hearing!

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will consider the adoption of a concept alternative for the Coston Street Sidewalk Project during the March 27, 2024 hearing. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.; however, this project is one of several agenda items and may not be the first item discussed. ACHD staff will make a brief presentation followed by an opportunity for public comment before the Commission acts.

Alternatives under consideration:

Both concepts include:

Curb, gutter, and a 5-foot sidewalk on both sides of Coston Street from Warm Springs Avenue to Franklin Street.
Rebuilding Coston Street from Warm Springs Avenue to Franklin Street.
Adding and/or improving pedestrian ramps.
Constructing bulb-outs at all major intersections along Coston Street (Bannock Street, Jefferson Street, State Street, Washington Street, Franklin Street, Mobley Drive, and Hillview Drive).
Retaining most existing sidewalk.
