May 22, 2025 - New Closure Information

Beginning June 2nd, Eagle Road will be closed in downtown Eagle between State Street and Plaza Drive.

To get around the closure, commuters should use Plaza Street and 2nd Street as a detour.

Local residential and business access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure, including Cedar Ridge Street and Aikens Street. Aikens Street now extends east to 2nd Street.

This phase of construction is expected to be completed by June 26th. ACHD has coordinated this roadwork to wrap up before the beginning of Eagle Fun Days. The work is part of ACHD's Downtown Eagle Mobility Improvements Project, which is expected to be complete by the end of 2025.
