ACHD will begin construction on the Eagle Road and Ranch Drive Enhanced Pedestrian Crossing project as early as the beginning of June 2023. Lane and sidewalk closures with detours are expected. A 7-day advance notice will be given via message boards in the project area prior to any full road closures. Residents and property owners are encouraged to use alternate routes as much as possible to minimize any potential impacts to traffic flows during the construction.

The work may include, but is not limited to, the following impacts: general construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms, and ground vibration. Regular construction hours are planned between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm Monday through Friday. Expect daily lane closures throughout the duration of the project. During construction, a full closure of the intersection at Eagle Road and Ranch Drive will be necessary for approximately 14 days to reconstruct and pave the intersection. During this closure, please expect weekend work to take place between 7:00 am and 10 pm.
