Construction to start in September

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is pleased to announce that the Eagle Road, Lake Hazel to Amity project will begin construction starting as early as mid-September 2024. Originally scheduled for January 2024, the project was delayed due to an unresponsive and void construction bid. Work is now expected to be complete by November 2025.

Traffic and Construction Impacts

  • Short-term road closures
  • Eagle and Lake Hazel intersection closure for several months
  • Lane restrictions with flaggers
  • General construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms and ground vibration
  • Crews may work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise approved
  • The contractor will work with property owners to minimize construction impacts and maintain access
