The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is exploring pedestrian & bicycle improvements along the Franklin Street Corridor between the 18th/Ellis Street intersection on the west to Coston Avenue on the east.

Franklin Street Improvements:

This project is intended to implement bicycle and pedestrian facilities that improve safety and access to schools, parks, and businesses proximate to the corridor.

    The ACHD Commission adopted the Franklin Street Neighborhood Improvements plan on November 8, 2023.

    The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will consider the adoption of the Franklin Street Neighborhood Improvements Plan during the November 8, 2023 hearing. The meeting will begin at 12 p.m.; however, this project is one of several agenda items and may not be the first item discussed. ACHD staff will make a brief presentation followed by an opportunity for public comment before the Commission acts.

    • Join us at 3775 Adams Street in Garden City in the Auditorium.

    Virtually

    • Participate online. The Meeting will be live-streamed and members of the public who wish to watch and ask questions can do so using Zoom.
