Ten Mile Road and Lake Hazel Road Roundabout

The Ada County Highway District is designing a future roundabout for the Ten Mile Road and Lake Hazel Road intersection. The purpose of the project is to increase safety for all users and accommodate future traffic volumes.

Proposed Improvements

• Construct a single-lane roundabout at the Ten Mile and Lake Hazel intersection.
• Add curb, gutter and a detached multi-use pathway.
• Add crosswalks at each leg of the intersection with two-stage pedestrian crossings.
• Include a truck apron for larger vehicles to use if necessary.
• Add street lighting.
• The Ten Mile bridge over the Mason Creek Feeder will be replaced with the project and the Lake Hazel bridge will be widened.
