Lake Hazel Road, Cloverdale Road to Five Mile Road

General Description:

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is designing future improvements for Lake Hazel Road between Cloverdale Road and Five Mile Road to improve safety and connectivity for all users, as well as accommodate current and future traffic.

Proposed Improvements

Reconstruct Lake Hazel Road between Cloverdale and Five Mile to include the following

• Two travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane with curb and gutter
• Separated multi-use pathways on both sides of Lake Hazel Road for both bicyclists and pedestrians
• Updated signalized pedestrian and bicyclists crossings at Valley Street and Lowland View Way, along with the school zone flashers
• Upgraded stormwater facilities to improve drainage
• Utility relocations along Lake Hazel Roads
