The Vehicular Level of Service (LOS) performance measure provides a transparent framework to guide assessment of vehicular networks. The LOS reflects relative comfort of roads and intersections. The original methodology was developed by the Florida Department of Transportation. This methodology has been adapted to reflect local experience.
