This project is substantially complete. 

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will start construction on Mallard Drive, north of Park Center Boulevard, as early as mid-June or as late as August 2023. Construction is anticipated to be completed in December 2023.*

Project Description

  • As part of the Bridge Maintenance Program, ACHD will remove and replace the existing Mallard Drive culvert over Loggers Creek
  • Reconstruct the adjacent pedestrian ramps to meet modern standards
  • Install pedestrian railings over the Mallard Drive culvert to increase safety

Construction Impacts

  • Temporary road closes
  • Lane restrictions with flaggers
  • Pedestrian detours and sidewalk closures
  • General construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms, and ground vibration
  • Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise approved
  • The contractor will work with the homeowners to minimize construction impacts

*Construction schedules may change due to the high demand for contractors, labor, and supplies.
