February-March 2022 Outreach

In early 2022 ACHD sought feedback on proposed alternatives for Maple Grove Road from Amity to Victory.

Preliminary alternatives considered widening Maple Grove Road to include:

3-lane (one lane in each direction with a center turn lane), OR
5-lane (two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane), OR
4-lane (two lanes in each direction with a continuous center median and roundabouts at key intersections)

All alternatives featured:

Separated bicycle and pedestrian pathways on both sides with improved crossings at key intersections
A roundabout at the Maple Grove Road/Amity Road intersection
New wider bridges over the Knudsen Lateral and Tenmile Feeder canals
