Traffic calming plan has been implemented in the neighborhoods north of State Street.
Eastbound traffic is on the south side of State Street. Westbound traffic was shifted onto the new pavement on the north side of State Street on the night of March 31st. The work zone is currently in the middle of State Street.
Left turns have been eliminated through the work zone.
Work is on-going on Pierce Park Lane. Asphalt paving is scheduled for May 1st.
Contractor placing base gravels in the center work zone for concrete and asphalt paving.
Concrete paving on the east leg of State Street was done April 23rd.
Pierce Park traffic will be shifted to the east side of the roadway on May 5th.
This will allow concrete paving to be done the west leg of State Street.
The traffic shift to the 3rd and final phase is scheduled to be done by the end of May or early June.
