This project is substantially complete.
The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will begin construction on Old Oak Avenue and the Suntree Place cul-de-sac in early July of 2024. Construction is expected to be completed in early September 2024.
Improvements include constructing two new seepage beds to help mitigate historical flooding in the area.
The work may include, but is not limited to, the following impacts:
Temporary pedestrian detours
General construction noise
Dust
Equipment backup alarms and ground vibration
No full road closures are anticipated; however, lane restrictions and flaggers will be present throughout the project. Residents and adjacent property owners will have access during construction. Emergency access will be accommodated if the need arises.
Regular construction hours are planned between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
