Victory Road, Annett Street to Railroad Crossing

The Ada County Highway District is designing improvements for Victory Road, from Annett Street to east of the railroad crossing to improve pedestrian safety and connectivity.

Project Description

• Construct new 5-foot sidewalks on both sides of Victory Road, from Virginia Avenue to the existing sidewalks east of the railroad crossing.
• Replace sidewalk and driveway crossings along the south side of Victory Road, between Annett Street and Virginia Avenue that are sub-standard.
• Fill in missing sidewalk on the north side of Victory Road, just west of Columbus Street.
• Repaint sharrows (shared bicycle/travel lanes).
• Construct bulb-outs at Virginia Avenue.
• Add a retaining wall and pedestrian railing approaching the railroad crossing.
