Fall 2023 Update

Based on public input and further technical review, the team has made a few changes to the project design.

The improvements now include

• Filling in sidewalk gaps to improve connectivity
• Adding bulb-outs and narrowing travel lanes where appropriate to improve safety
• Upgrading and/or installing pedestrian ramps to meet modern standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Adding crosswalk markings for school walk route crossings (new)
• Stormwater and irrigation upgrades to improve flows

• West Washington Street, Northwest 7^th Street to Meridian Road
• West 6^th Street, West Carlton Avenue to West Washington Street
• West 7^th Street, Washington Street to the pathway South of McFadden Avenue (new)
