Fairview Avenue, Cole Road to Garden Street

The Ada County Highway District is making plans to improve walking and bicycling routes on Fairview Avenue in Boise. This project will make it easier for neighbors to access schools, jobs, shopping, public transportation, and the Boise Greenbelt.

This project focuses on two sections:

• Fairview Avenue between Cole Road and Orchard Street
• Fairview Avenue between Orchard Street and the Boise Greenbelt. This section includes alternatives that touch Garden Street, Brown Street and 32nd Street.

Project Features

• Connecting gaps in existing sidewalks
• Paving new driveways and repairing existing driveways
• Adding accessible pedestrian ramps
• Adding pedestrian signals and crossings
• Adding a multi-use pathway on Fairview Avenue between Orchard Street and the Boise Greenbelt
