ACHD has heard that this section of Taft Street needs traffic calming measures and better bicycle and pedestrian connectivity. Based on this feedback ACHD has initiated a study to develop and evaluate alternatives to improve Taft Street for all users. ACHD wants to work collaboratively with the neighborhood to determine the appropriate improvements. We are starting with a blank slate, and want your input on possible solutions.

Following this outreach, ACHD will continue refining the design based on public input and will prepare the Draft Taft Street Design Concept Report for the ACHD Commission to consider for adoption.
