The Cole Road project is a roadway maintenance project consisting of the following work:

  • Full reconstruction of the existing pavement along Cole Road between Century Way and the southern end of the Overland Road bridge deck.
  • Mill and inlay between Century Way to just south of Mossy Cup Street.
  • Installation of accessible pedestrian signal (APS) devices at the intersections of Cole Road/Entertainment Avenue and Cole Road/Century Way.
  • Upgrading pedestrian ramps to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards where necessary.

    • Excavation and paving is complete.
    • Remaining work includes pavement markings. Work was scheduled for September 29th but delayed due to rain. Work has been rescheduled for October 7th.
    • Work is being done at night. Lane restrictions will be in place from 8:00pm to 6:00am.
    • Work is weather-dependent.

    • Work will then proceed to the north and west legs.
    • Work is being done at night. Lane restrictions will be in place from 8:00pm to 6:00am.

    • Contractor intends to start on the east leg on September 7th. Eastbound Overland Road will be restricted to one through lane; turn lanes will remain open.
