Wall starting on northwest corner in early September. Lake Hazel to Amity closed for duration of 2nd phase. Utilities relocating services. Excavation ongoing. Storm drain ongoing. Sidewalk ongoing between Taconic and Lake Hazel.

Phase 2 of the Eagle Road, Lake Hazel to Amity Road project will begin next week.
Starting Tuesday, July 1, Lake Hazel Road will be open to east-west traffic. Also beginning Tuesday, Eagle Road will be fully closed between Lake Hazel and Amity Roads.
Local access will be maintained during the construction. Temporary stop signs and speed bumps will be installed in several neighborhood intersections near the road closure. Non-local traffic should use Cloverdale to the east, and Locust Grove to the west to get around the closure. (see detour map)
The roadwork is part of ACHD’s Eagle Road, Lake Hazel to Amity Road project, which includes widening and signalizing the intersection of Eagle and Lake Hazel, a multi-lane roundabout at Eagle and Taconic, widening Eagle Road, and adding a multi-use pathway for bicyclists and pedestrians. The entire project is expected to be complete in November 2025.
