As part of the Ada County Highway District’s (ACHD) Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program, ACHD will perform routine maintenance on the Boise Avenue bridge (formerly Healey Road) over the New York Canal.

This planned work includes preventative deck maintenance to extend the life of the structure and ensure it remains safe and reliable. The improvements will help maintain a smooth, durable driving surface for all users.

Construction Impacts

  • Lane restrictions
  • General construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms, and ground vibration
  • Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise approved

Construction schedules may change due to high demand for contractors, labor, and supplies.

    • Deck work is complete. The roadway will open no later than May 15th, after concrete reaches minimum strength.
    • An epoxy overlay will be placed after the new concrete has cured for a minimum of 28 days.
