Beginning tonight, the sidewalk on the south side of State Street, near Pierce Park, will be closed.

The closure is to allow crews to make repairs to a phone line that was struck during a boring operation.

During the repairs, the sidewalk on the south side of State Street will be closed between the two Lakeside Drives.

Pedestrians should use either Glenwood to the west or Pierce Park to the east to get around the closure.

Repairs are expected to be complete by Friday.
