This project is substantially complete. 

  • Reconstruct State Street between 8th and 4th streets.
  • Upgrade all three traffic signals on this section of State St.
  • Construct bulb-outs for shorter pedestrian crossings and better visibility.
  • Add vegetated bioretention facilities for stormwater treatment.
  • Upgrade the existing enhanced crosswalk behind the Idaho State Capitol building to an overhead Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon.
