Eagle Road between Plaza and Aikens

• Veolia will need to close Aikens for water change over - Anticipated end of August.

• Retaining wall ongoing - North side of Plaza started July 19th - One approach at a time.
• Albertsons approach anticipating starting August 5th.

Eagle and Plaza Intersection

• Paving on Eagle complete.
• Signal at Eagle and Plaza was turned on July 18th.

Eagle Road between Plaza and Aikens

  • Removing Asphalt. Grading road. Paving anticipated for the week of July 15th.

ACHD will be milling and paving Eagle Road between Plaza and HWY 44 beginning Thursday, July 11th. While Eagle Road will not be closed, there will be lane shifts and long delays throughout this process. We advise that you take an alternative route, such as Old State, to get around the delays.

Plaza Drive will be closed for Eagle Fun Days beginning Friday evening. Part of Plaza, from Eagle to the McDonald's approach, will also be milled and paved while the road is closed. We expect work to be complete late next week.

But have no fear! Work will be paused so the fun can go on! Saturday will be all about Eagle Fun Days and construction will restart on Sunday.

In other exciting news, late next week, Plaza Drive will be reopened and the light at the intersection of Plaza and Eagle will be turned back on. In addition, State HWY 55 and HWY 44 lane restrictions will be removed on July 19th.
